      This was an open walk at Kawaleryjskie Settlement in Białystok and its environs, a non touristic one, but with many historical sites and a very interesting museum – University Biology Centre.
    • “International Marriage Week. Historical tour to Knyszyn.”

      Organizer: Tour Guides Club at RO PTTK in Białystok, Main Organizer of International Marriage Week in Białystok: Stowarzyszenie Innowatorów Edukacji w Białymstoku.
      This was a tour dedicated to married couples and the main theme of the walk in Knyszyn was the unusual marriage between the last king of the Jagiellonian Dynasty, Zygmunt August, and Barbara Radziwiłł.
    • “Somewhere between Białystok and Wasilków”

      Organizer: Tour Guides Club at RO PTTK in Białystok
      This was an open walk within the framework of Tour Guides Club called “Discover Białystok with a Tour Guide”. My idea was to show my audience interesting sites in suburban Białystok – the historic water pressure tower, the Jaroszówka wilderness and the beautiful religious paintings of Krzysztof Koniczek in the church in the Wyżyny district.
    • “Through Podlasie by train. Sidra”

      Organizer: Tour Guides Club at RO PTTK in Białystok
      This was a train trip from Białystok to Sidra, a small village in the eastern part of the Podlaskie voivodeship, followed by a walk through its historical remnants. After a 4-hour walk we returned by train to Białystok.

      This was an open walk within the framework of International Marriage Week. We walked near the places related to 2 historical known spouses living in Bialystok: Sender and Małka Bloch – rich Jewish manufacturers living in Bialystok in the XIXth century and Bohdan and Zofia Ostromęccy – a doctor and a teacher living in Bialystok in the first quarter of the XXth century. During our walk we visited a museum in Bialystock’s oldest school located at Warszawska street 8.
    • “Trails of famous spouses from Białystok – historical and romantic walk”

      This was an open walk within the framework of International Marriage Week. We walked near the places related to 4 historical famous or known spouses living in Bialystok: Stanisław and Placyda Bukowscy – architect and artist, Jan Klemens and Izabela Braniccy – owners of the city in the second half of the XVIIIth century, Sokrat and Tatiana Janowicz – Belarussian writer and his wife and muse, Krzysztof and Aleksandra Wiesiołowscy – owners of Białystok in the first half of XVIIth century.
    • “Białystok Districts – Nowe Miasto”

      Organizer: Tour Guides Club at RO PTTK in Białystok
      This was an open walk within the framework of Tour Guides Club called “Discover Białystok with a Tour Guide”. My idea was to show to my audience the quite new district of Bialystok called New City (Nowe Miasto) founded just before the second world war on the land belonging earlier to Słoboda village. I also tried to reveal the history of a neighboring estate called Bażantarnia, based on archival documents. Report from the walk was published by one of the participants.
    • “From tobacco drying houses and clearcutting chapels land to Augustów”

      Organizer: PTTK in Białystok, Regional Brunch
      This was an open bus tour arranged by me and Aneta Cich, a tour guide from Augustów. During the tour we showed the audience an interesting stretch of land near the Biebrza River historically called the “Jaminy Wilderness”, a place full of wooden tobacco houses and original house-shaped wooden chapels. We visited a wooden church in Jaminy, Mogilnice – the village with the biggest number of wooden drying houses, and the private museum of Aleksander and Maria Godlewski in Jaziewo. We also stopped near the lock at Augustów channel in Sosnowo and in Gabowe Grądy – a village inhabited by orthodox Old Believers. Our last stop was Augustów city, where the audience was guided by Aneta Cich. The tour ended with dinner in the iconic “Albatros” restaurant in Augustów.
    • “Scot at Branicki’s court i.e. Augustyn Mirys and his paintings located in Podlasie”

      Organizer: Tour Guides Club at RO PTTK in Białystok
      This was an open bus tour arranged by me and Iwona Zinkiewicz, a tour guide specializing in the architecture and art of Orthodox churches. The tour was dedicated to Augustyn Mirys, a Scottish painter working in Bialystok for Jan Klemens Branicki’s court in the second half of the XVIIIth century. During the tour, we visited the places where the art of Augustyn Mirys can be viewed as well as other interesting sites. We stopped at the white church in Bialystok, where the main altar features a painting of Mirys titled “Assumption of Blessed Mary”; the museum of material culture “Baćkauszczyna” in Ryboły; the church dedicated to the Birth of Blessed Mary and Saint Nicolaus in Bielsk Podlaski, built in the XVIIIth century, where the main altar painting by Augustyn Mirys titled “Blessed Mary visiting Elisabeth” and some side altar paintings of Mirys are located. After that we went to Nowoberezowo, to visit a very interesting wooden Orthodox church with an old ceiling painting. Last two stops were the wooden Orthodox churches in Szczyty Dzięciołowo and Pasynki, where paintings by Augustyn Mirys are located. The tour ended with dinner in at Ptasia Osada near the Narew river.
    • “Antoni Herliczka trails”

      Organizer: Tour Guides Club at RO PTTK in Białystok
      This was an open bus tour arranged by me and Tadeusz Daniłko, a tour guide from Dolistowo. The tour was dedicated to Antoni Herliczka, a painter working in Bialystok for Jan Klemens Branicki’s court in the second half of the XVIIIth century. During the tour we mostly visited the places where the art of Antoni Herliczka can be viewed. Our stops were Branicki’s palace in Bialystok, where two wall paintings titled “Parys judge” and “Pan and Syrinx” can be seen on the outdoor walls of the palace; the oldest church in Bialystok (white church) where ceiling paintings of Antoni Herliczka can be seen and the archbishop’s palace in Bialystok, in which a wall painting titled “Three men visiting Abraham” can be seen above the fireplace. After that we went to Choroszcz, where reconstructed ceiling paintings of Antoni Herliczka can be seen in the Dominican church at the market square. We also visited King’s Zygmunt August lake near Knyszyn and a wooden church in Kalinówka Kościelna and ended our tour in Dolistowo, a village near Biebrza river, where Antoni Herliczka made altar paintings in 1790s. Unfortunately these paintings did not last to the present time. Tadeusz Daniłko guided the tour members through his home vilage Dolistowo. It ended at his farm with a campfire.
    • “Old-time Zabłudów County”

      This was an open bus tour arranged by me and Izabela Szymańska. During the tour we visited the Hasbach family and Krusenstern family palaces, Maria’s Immaculate Heart church and the Orthodox cemetery at Dojlidy, the regional muzeum in Bialostoczek, remnants of the Radziwill courtly park, the St. Roch cemetery and the orthodox church in Zabłudów, the Orthodox church and the remnants of the courtly establishment in Topolany and the ruins of the palace in Hieronimowo. Then we had lunch in Michałowo. After lunch, we visited the film and old photography studio in Michałowo and the memorial dedicated to German victims of the second world war in Grabówka. Tour guidance was provided by me and Izabela Szymańska.
